What's inside

Four designs for composed power: the kind that does not need to announce itself.

Roar of Dominion - Confidence Buff Tattoo for interviews and professional moments
5.5x9

Roar of Dominion

Your anchor. The design you glance at when you need to remember: I prepared. I belong here. Place on forearm, visible when you reach for water or rest your hands on the table.

Lone Wolf - Confidence Buff Tattoo for interviews and professional moments
4x7

Lone Wolf

Quiet confidence. For the version of you that does not need validation to move forward. Place on upper arm or inner forearm.

Iron Eagle - Confidence Buff Tattoo for interviews and professional moments
2x2

Iron Eagle

Wears under formal cuffs. Low-key, high-signal. Place on inner wrist, barely visible to the room, always visible to you.

Crested Faith - Confidence Buff Tattoo for interviews and professional moments
2x2

Crested Faith

The word you say to yourself before the door opens. Wear on inner wrist or collarbone as a private cue.

Buff Logo - SkinBuffs Brand Mark for Skin Testing
BONUS · 1x1

Buff Logo

Complimentary with every Set. Apply first if you have sensitive skin: it is our smallest design and perfect for a patch test.

Where to place it

For interview settings, the goal is visible to you, not to the room. Choose placement based on your industry's formality level.

Inner wrist

Glances naturally when you reach for water or rest hands on the table. Most-used placement for interview settings.

Best for: Roar of Dominion, Iron Eagle, Crested Faith

Forearm under sleeve

Visible to you when you glance down. Hidden to the room in formal settings. Best for industries with strict appearance standards.

Best for: Lone Wolf, Iron Eagle

Upper arm

Completely hidden under business attire. A private ritual only you know is there.

Best for: Roar of Dominion, Lone Wolf

Questions, asked plainly

Why can't I see the design right after applying?

Our ink is plant-based, made from the genipin compound in real Genipa Americana fruit. It binds with your skin proteins and oxidizes over 48–72 hours. By day three, it reaches its full deep blue-black tone. Faint color right after applying is completely expected.

Is the ink safe? What's it made of?

Plant-based, vegan, cruelty-free, and PPD-free. The active compound (genipin) comes from real Genipa fruit, sometimes called jagua. It does not contain the harsh chemicals found in some black henna products. Patch test recommended for sensitive skin.

How do I remove it early?

It fades naturally over 10–15 days. To remove earlier: exfoliate with a sugar scrub, or use baby oil, olive oil, or rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad. It will fade within a few days.

Who is The Composed Set for?

Anyone walking into a room to be evaluated: job interviews, year-end reviews, MBA admissions interviews, immigration interviews, board pitches, media appearances. The designs are chosen for composed power: steady, professional, and not requiring the room's approval.

When should I apply it before an interview?

Apply 72 hours before. With plant-based ink, the design reaches full intensity by day three. For a Monday interview, apply Friday evening.

Will the tattoo be visible to my interviewer?

Only if you want it to be. Iron Eagle and Crested Faith, both 2x2, sit comfortably under formal cuffs. Roar of Dominion and Lone Wolf are larger and best placed where they are visible only to you: inner forearm when your sleeve is rolled up, or upper arm under a shirt.

Can I wear this to a corporate or conservative interview?

Yes. Choose Iron Eagle or Crested Faith on the inner wrist. They read as small personal jewelry, not visible tattoos, at interview distance. For very strict industries like law, finance, or government, place under your sleeve entirely.

Is this a good gift for someone going into a big interview or review?

Yes, especially for new graduates, career changers, or anyone facing a high-stakes evaluation. Include a note to apply 72 hours before. The Confidence Master Kit is also a strong option if they have multiple big moments coming up.

Plan three days ahead

Our plant-based ink develops over 48-72 hours. Here's how to time yours for maximum impact.

HOUR 0

Apply

Clean and dry your skin. Press face-down, hold a damp cloth for 30 seconds, peel. Takes 2 minutes.

HOUR 1-24

Almost invisible

The plant-based ink is binding with your skin. Faint color is normal: it has not oxidized yet.

HOUR 24-48

Developing

The design deepens as the ink oxidizes. This is the in-between stage before full color lands.

HOUR 48-72

Fully developed

Full deep blue-black tone. Your Buff is now active: this is the cue you will glance at all day.

Tip: Apply The Composed Set three days before your interview, your review, or your pitch. Walk in fully buffed.
